During SXSW – taking place now through March 18, 2018 at 717 Red River Street in Austin, Texas – DC and Warner Bros. Television Group are hosting the first-ever DC Pop-Up and Super Hero Experience. This exclusive panel will bring together some of the biggest names in comics to talk 80 years of Superman, Action Comics #1000, and Krypton

Throughout SXSW, this exclusive conversation will showcase Superman’s enduring impact on popular culture, coinciding with the 1000th issue of Action Comics and the upcoming premiere of Krypton on SYFY. Comic book legend Frank Miller (Superman: Year One), award-winning writer and artist Dan Jurgens (The Death of Superman), acclaimed artist and DC Publisher Jim Lee (Superman Unchained), and the newest writer to join the DC roster, Brian Michael Bendis (Action Comics #1000), are joined by the executive producer of the upcoming SYFY series Krypton, Cameron Welsh, and Krypton writers Lina Patel and Nadria Tucker.

Moderated by IGN Executive Editor Laura Prudom, the conversation will cover SYFY’s upcoming Superman special, Krypton: The Making of a Legend, celebrating the forthcoming series and the enduring legacy of Superman.

DC’s Pop-Up and Experience will be open now until March 18, from 12 PM to 10 PM daily at SXSW.
