Often lovingly referred to as “the Bible of comic book collectors and dealers,” The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #48 is now in the April 2018 issue of Diamond Comic Distributors’ PREVIEWS catalog. Currently, it appears on page 386 as a Featured Item. 

The 48th edition features a main cover created by The Flash: Rebirth and Green Lantern artist, Ethan Van Sciver. As well as a cover celebrating the 50th anniversary of Planet of the Apes, by Batman Beyond: Rebirth and Wednesday Comics’ Kamandi artist Ryan Sook. 

Along with updated prices and current market reports, The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #48 also highlights new additions to the Overstreet Hall of Fame and a selection of key character anniversaries. Not to mention a look inside Marvel's fateful 1968 expansion, the 50th anniversary of Planet of the Apes, in addition to Action Comics history from former DC President and Publisher Paul Levitz.

Van Sciver’s Flash/Green Lantern softcover will be available in bookstores and comic shops, while the Flash/Green Lantern hardcover and both the Planet of the Apes hardcover and softcover editions will be available exclusively at comic book stores. 

The softcovers are retailed at $29.95 while the hardcovers carry the cover price of $35.

Van Sciver and Sook join a long list of comic artists who have covered the Guide. From Joe Kubert, Will Eisner, and Carl Barks to Alex Ross, Walter Simonson, and Amanda Conner, covering The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide has been the exclusive purview of the field’s top artists. Wally Wood, Al Williamson, Murphy Anderson, Carmine Infantino, Joe Simon, C.C. Beck, John K. Snyder III, Joe Jusko, and Mike Deodato, Jr. are among the other luminaries whose work has been featured.
