The Rosedale Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library system will be holding their third annual Fandomonium convention on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Gemstone’s Assistant Editor, Carrie Wood, will be guesting at the show to help host the cosplay panel and the costume contest for the second year in a row.

The show is intended for all ages and features events such as “Superhero Storytime,” a Super Smash Bros. tournament, virtual reality demonstrations, and much more. There will also be appearances by the local chapter of the 501st Legion and the Charm City Ghostbusters.

“Much as I always love attending big shows, I feel like small, community events like this are equally as important,” Wood said. “For a lot of young kids, events like these are their first comic-con experience, so I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday – and hopefully everyone brings their A-game for the costume contest!”

The Rosedale Branch of the BCPL is located at 6105 Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale, Maryland; Fandomonium will run from 10 AM to 4:30 PM.
