During The CW’s annual Arrow-verse crossover event this fall, DC Comics’ popular Batwoman will make her debut. 

“We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be doing another crossover event this fall on The CW, and we’ll be introducing a new character. For the very first time appearing, we’ll be fighting alongside Batwoman, which is terrific. The crossover is going to make it to air in December. I need to leave right now and start filming it,” Arrow star Stephen Amell announced via Entertainment Weekly.  

“We are adding the city of Gotham into the Arrowverse,” The CW boss Mark Pedowitz added. “This will be another full-throttled, action-packed event.”

The addition of Gotham City and its residents has been teased throughout the Arrow-verse for some time, with Oliver Queen even mentioning Bruce Wayne. However, specific details on the plot of the upcoming crossover, including the role Batwoman will play, have not yet been revealed.  

The next CW crossover, bringing together Greg Berlanti’s superhero dramas Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, is slated to air in December 2018.
