As revealed via Box Office Mojo, Avengers: Infinity War has officially passed $2 billon at the global box office. The 19th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe joins Avatar, Titanic, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the only films to reach the milestone thus far. The film just missed Avatar’s record of fastest movie to cross the $2 billion mark.

While performing well domestically, more than 67% of Infinity War’s earnings have come from abroad. The film also eclipsed MCU predecessors The Avengers at $1.509 billion and The Avengers: Age of Ultron at $1.405 billion, becoming the third consecutive Avengers movie to exceed $1 billion. The highest-grossing superhero movie, also beats out MCU films such as Black Panther and Iron Man, as well as DCEU films including The Dark Knight and Wonder Woman

Currently still playing in theaters, Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin.
