ComicConnect sold a copy of Action Comics #1 at auction for $2,052,000, making it the third highest priced comic book ever. The famous comic features the first appearance and origin of Superman.

ComicConnect’s Second City Collection Auction highlights that have already been snapped up include Detective Comics #33 CGC 9.2 for $341,234, Captain America Comics #1 CGC 7.5 for $257,333, Detective Comics #27 CGC 8.5 R for $242,000, Avengers #1 CGC 9.6 for $194,000, Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 7.5 for $131,000, and a Captain America: The First Avenger screen-worn costume went for $182,222.
