What makes the difference between getting news coverage and opportunities for a project and being left behind? A lot of publishers may have great ideas and work to share but do not know what to submit to press, how to submit it, or why they are overlooked for coverage. This will be the topic of discussion during the Comic-Con panel “How to Get News Coverage.”

Comics journalist Rik Offenberger (First Comics News, Archie Comics) will moderate this panel on getting coverage with comics journalists sharing their advice and wisdom to get submissions covered. Panelists include Tim Chizmar (Fangoria), Glenn Hauman (Comic Mix), Jez Ibelle (First Comics News), Rob Salkowitz (ICv2), Francis Sky (First Comics News), J.C. Vaughn (Gemstone Publishing Vice-President of Publishing), and Josh Waldrop (Red Gorilla Comics), plus independent comic creators Ed Catto (Captain Action) and Holly Golightly (BroadSword Comics).
