Image Comics will be returning to San Diego for Comic-Con International on Wednesday through Sunday, July 18-22, 2018. Ahead of the convention, the publisher has unveiled the panels, signings, and exclusives fans can expect to see at the show.

Located at booth 2729, Image will be offering a wide variety of free giveaways, exclusives, and limited edition volumes. They include such comics as Ice Cream Man Vol. 1 Rainbow Sprinkles, Walking Dead #181, Infinite Dark/Freexe Flip Book, Aphrodite V #1, Farmhand #1 and more. Plus a Deadly Class shirt and enamel pins for Deadly Class, Witchblade, and Sunstone.

Throughout the five-day show, Image will be hosting signings at booth 2729 with creators such as Rob Guillory (Chew), Doug TeNapel (Gear), Cat Staggs (Crosswind), Grace Ellis (Moonstruck), Steve Orlando (Crude), Jeff Lemire (Royal City), Justin Greenwood and Landry Walker (The Last Siege), Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Rick Remender (Deadly Class), and many more. Some signings are ticketed and will require wristbands, which will be given out at the booth as soon as the convention floor opens on a first come, first served basis.

Along with exclusives and signings, Image will also be leading several panels during Comic-Con International. On Thursday, in room 23ABC from 2 PM to 3 PM, Image will host the “#WeBelieve in Fantasy” panel. Let the spellbinding talent of Sam Humphries, Grace Ellis, Jeremy Haun, Johnnie Christmas, and Megan Hutchison enchant as they explain the alchemy behind their latest comics.

Then on Friday, in room 23ABC at 12 PM to 1 PM, they’ll host the “#WeBelieve in Horror” panel. Horror storytellers including Will Dennis (the editor of Wytches, Gideon Falls) and other special guests will share how they’re ushering in a new era of horror with cerebral writers and visceral artists. The following day, in room 7AB at 11 AM to 12 PM the “#WeBelieve in Suspense” panel will be held. Thrill gurus Donny Cates, Mirka Andolfo, Steve Orlando, Jacob Semahn, Megan Hutchison, and Dean Haspiel will deconstruct their approach to weaving suspense in comics.

Finally, their panels close the convention on Sunday in room 5AB from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM with “#WeBelieve in Craft.” Talented folks who have made a career as myth-makers including Joe Casey, Daniel Warren Johnson, Justin Greenwood, Kickliy, and Shannon Wheeler will chart the paths they traveled to arrive at their current projects.

Image Comics’ creators Chris Burnham, Juan Gedeon, Sanford Greene, Joe Harris, Tom Neely, Dustin Nguyen, Jimmie Robinson, and Landry Q. Walker can be found in Artist Alley during the con.
