Ahead of Comic-Con, Warner Bros. got DC fans excited for announcements by releasing the first Aquaman teaser poster. It depicts Jason Momoa as Aquaman crouching confidently on an underwater rock, a smirk on his face and his trident in hand. He is surrounded by a cacophony of impressive aquatic life with sharks, dolphins, whales, turtles, and stingrays.

The tagline “Home Is Calling” is centered above the tip of his trident, referencing Aquaman’s legacy as a man of the human and Atlantean worlds. In the film, Aquaman’s half-brother Orm plots war against the surface as revenge for years of pollution.

Aquaman is directed by James Wan and written by Will Beall. Along with Momoa, the movie stars Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temurea Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman.
