To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Superman: The Movie, the iconic film is flying back into theaters for a special event. Courtesy of Fathom Events, Christopher Reeve’s Man of Steel will be taking over the silver screen in select theaters on Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Directed by Richard Donner, Superman: The Movie first hit theaters on December 15, 1978. Along with Reeve, the film starred Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, Marlon Brando as Superman's father Jor-El and Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor. Reeve reprised his role as the titular DC hero in three additional Superman movies.

Fandango has listed the event, but has yet to specify exactly which theaters will be showing the movie.
