The 19th annual Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Baltimore Convention Center the weekend of September 28-30, 2018. With the panel schedule now set, Baltimore Comic-Con has announced what programming fans can look forward to at the show.

Kicking things off on Friday is “Elfquest – 40 Years of Pointed Ears.” Celebrate 40 years of the longest-running indy fantasy comic with Wendy Pini (Elfquest, Masque of the Red Death) and Richard Pini (Elfquest, Line of Beauty). Learn behind the scenes secrets that have been hidden since 1978 and see the clues that were planted decades ago.

Also on Friday, fans can join Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett as they reminisce over their 25 years of collaborations. Attendees will also hear from some of the creators behind this year's Baltimore Comic-Con Yearbook and meet the Liberty Brigade.

Then on Saturday, publisher panels include AHOY, Cave Pictures Publishing, and Valiant. As well as spotlight panels on Jim Steranko, Frank Miller, Arthur Adams, and Jim Starlin and media guest panels with Katrina Law, Mike Colter, and Wil Wheaton. Plus, the comic adventures of Shazam!, a look at the connection between music and comics, and the adult-only costume contest.

Finally on Sunday, attendees have the chance to hear from Shazam himself in the spotlight panel on Zachary Levi. As Baltimore Comic-Con is currently Levi’s only North America signing event in 2018, this is the perfect chance to meet him in person. Additional panels on Sunday include special panels with Michael Copon, Erin Gray, Sherilyn Fenn, Tricia Helfer, and spotlight panels on Dan Slott, Brian Azzarello, P. Craig Russell, and Tony Isabella.

Baltimore Comic-Con also has plenty of fun activities and workshops planned for the younger fans in the Kids Love Comics Pavilion. Featured events include a live reading of A Piggys Tale with Tod Emko and Superhero University with Chris Mariano and Adam Wallenta.
