Faster than you can say “Where does the time go?” it’s that time again!

The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #49 is now in production and once again Gemstone Publishing offers a 10% Early Bird discount for full page ads. The deadline for the Early Bird rate is Monday, December 10, 2018 (which means on Tuesday, December 11, those Early Bird rates revert to Standard rates). We also offer an additional 10% discount for three or more ads of the same size and type. 

And as with previous years, all full-page advertisers receive a complimentary Directory Listing and a copy of the Guide as well.

Since 1970, the Guide has been the Bible of serious comic book collectors and dealers alike. Along the way, we have seen the top prices paid for comics go from hundreds of dollars to millions. During that time comic collecting has gone from a quiet hobby to one with huge pop culture impact. With it’s proverbial Who’s Who of cover artists ‒ starting with Joe Kubert, Will Eisner, and Carl Barks, and including the likes of Mark Chiarello, Darwyn Cooke, Amanda Conner, Walter Simonson, and Joe Jusko ‒ the Guide has been there for all of it.

The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #49 is scheduled to go on sale Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

EARLY BIRD RATES
The Early Bird discount is 10%. It may be combined with the 10% multiple page (three or more pages of the same type) discount to get a 20% discount. 

To qualify for the Early Bird rates, you may pay by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or PayPal by December 10, 2018. Diamond Comic Distributors customers: Starting next week, advertisers who are also Diamond Comic Distributors clients may also choose to bill their ads to the Diamond accounts. We will post a version of that form to download as soon as it is available to us. Charges for ads will appear on your December 19, 2017 invoice from Diamond.

Please note: Half-page, quarter-page, and business card ads are not offered under the Early Bird rates.

The Early Bird rates end December 10, 2018.

Our Standard Rates will begin at midnight on December 11, 2018 and run through March 29, 2019.

PREMIUM POSITIONS
Almost all of the premium advertising positions in The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide are spoken for years in advance. However, changes do occur. If you are interested in a premium spot, please let us know.

DIRECTORY LISTINGS
Whether you have a traditional brick-and-mortar retail location, a mail-order business or run a website, simply fill out this form with all the pertinent information and send it back to us, via email, fax, or regular mail. Please use the Genre Codes to indicate the types of products you offer by circling the appropriate letters. These letters are, in turn, listed in the directory with your business information for future customers to see.

Directory Listings range from $40 to $60, and remember, they also come free with full page ads. The final day to submit a Directory Listing for this edition is April 19, 2019. As with other ads, we accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and American Express for payment.
