Apple has acquired the rights to create new Peanuts content. The company has been landing talent and original productions that is expected to start seeing release in 2019, including new material for the characters that Charles M. Schulz created.

They made a deal with DHX Media to create series, specials, and shorts featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang.

DHX Media, a Canadian kids programming company, will produce the projects. Some of the content will include some STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) short projects with astronaut Snoopy that will be exclusive to Apple. DHX Media will work with the Peanuts Worldwide subsidiary on all areas.
