On Thursday, May 2, 2019, iZombie returns to The CW for its fifth and final season. Ahead of the season premiere, the network has dropped a teaser trailer showcasing the grave new world facing the now walled-off zombie city of New Seattle. 

In the chaotic fourth season finale, the residents of New Seattle were on the verge of starvation and descending into anarchy. Moving into the final season, Major has become the de facto head of Fillmore-Graves, tasked with rationing food to the recently turned zombies along with enforcing law and order. Meanwhile Peyton has stepped up to run the government in the wake of the mayor’s assassination, Ravi is working tirelessly on the zombie cure and Liv and Clive continue to kick butt and take brains. 

iZombie stars Rose McIver as Olivia “Liv” Moore, Malcolm Goodwin as Clive Babineaux, Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley as Major Lilywhite, David Anders as Blaine DeBeers, Aly Michalka as Peyton Charles, Bryce Hodgson as Don Everhart, and Robert Knepper as Angus McDonough. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has also joined the final season as a member of the Seattle City Council. 

The series returns Thursday, May 2 at 8 PM ET/PT on The CW.
