Gettysburg’s Creature Feature Weekend has announced a few more guests and events to the upcoming horror convention. Scheduled for later this summer on Labor Day weekend, Creature Feature will host actors, directors, artists, and coordinate with area ghost tours.
With its Civil War history, Gettysburg is a tourist destination for history buffs and seekers of the paranormal. Creature Feature has announced that three ghost tours will be part of the weekend. Ghosts of Gettysburg Candlelight Walking Tours with period-dressed guides will share documented ghost stories collected by local author Mark Nesbitt. Ghostly Images of Gettysburg Ghost Tours will visit the infamous Haunted Orphanage and Jennie Wade House and take a ghost bus to some of Gettysburg’s most haunted landmarks. Gettysburg GhostTours with Johlene Spooky Riley will host “Fireside Ghost Stories” at the Wyndham Gettysburg, as well as discounts on a ghost tour, paranormal investigation, and/or tour of the Museum of Haunted Objects.
Newly added guests include Alex Vincent, who starred in Child’s Play and it’s 1990 sequel as Andy Barclay, the little boy who is tormented by the killer doll. He returned to the series for a cameo in 2013’s Curse of Chucky, then starred in 2017’s Cult of Chucky.
Jason Seaux, the artist on Necroman comics, which saw a successful Kickstarter on the first issue and is currently working on the second installment, will be there.
Bianca Allaine and Michael Kyne, the Zombinatrix star and director, will be at the con. Allaine has also starred in The Devil’s Muse, The Evil Inside, and Cryptids. She plays the titular character in Zombinatrix and will also do in-costume photos. Kyne is a director and historian who has worked in the art department for the History Channel and on Smithsonian Channel documentaries, worked with Varla Dogwood Films on music documentaries, including Encore: The Hammerjacks Documentary and Can’t Stop the Show: The Return of Kix.
Creature Feature is scheduled for August 30 through September 1, 2019 at the Wyndham Gettysburg, located at 95 Presidential Circle in Gettysburg, PA. Additional convention details and updates can be found on the Creature Feature website and Facebook page.
