On October 18-20, the Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Inner Harbor’s Baltimore Convention Center for its 20th year. Joining the 2019 event is Battlestar Galactica’s Aaron Douglas and Ray Donovan’s Johnathon Schaech.

Douglas has over 100 film, television, and video game credits on his impressive résumé, including X-Men 2, iRobot, Stargate SG-1, The Bridge, Hellcats, Hemlock Grove, The Killing, The Returned, Falling Skies, The Strain, iZombie, The X-Files, Supernatural, The Flash, Once Upon A Time, Dirk Gently Holistic Detective Agency, Imposters, Jordi Chin in Ubisoft’s WatchDogs, and more.

He is also creating and writing comic books for AfterShock Comics. His writing can be found in the first two volumes of Shock and he is currently working on his first original graphic novel, which is slated to be released in 2020.

“We’ve got one of the major characters from Battlestar Galactica,” said Marc Nathan, show promoter for the Baltimore Comic-Con. “Aaron brings not only his broad acting experience to the show, he’s now a bonafide comic book writer with AfterShock Comics! Fans will not want to miss meeting Aaron.”

Over the last 20 years, Schaech has starred in over 160 Hollywood productions, including Ray Donovan, How to Make an American Quilt, Doom Generation, That Thing You Do, 5 Days of War, Phantom, Texas Rising, Marauders, The Client List, Star-Crossed, Quantico, Sleepy Hollow, BlueBloods, Chicago P.D., and Impastor. He has recently portrayed Jonah Hex on Legends of Tomorrow and will be reprising his role for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event this fall on The CW.

Schaech also uses his national voice for dyslexia, working with the Harvard University-accredited NoticeAbility.org, a non-profit dedicated to helping students with the brain-based difference identify their unique strengths and build their self-esteem. He’s also on the Speakers Bureau for RAINN – the leading anti-violence organization in the world.

“Johnathon’s a great actor with a huge resume, and you will see him again as Jonah Hex in the upcoming CW Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover in the Arrowverse shows,” added Nathan.
