Comic professionals of all kinds came together on Saturday, October 19, 2019 for a celebration of the industry at large for the 2019 Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards, or simply the Ringo Awards, held at Baltimore Comic-Con.
This year’s Ringo Awards was sponsored by Presenting Sponsors Baltimore Comic-Con and Cards, Comics and Collectibles; Gold Sponsors BOOM! Studios and WEBTOON; and Silver Sponsors Fantastic Forum, Graphite, Source Point Press, and Valiant Entertainment.
Industry veteran Bob Wayne, whose résumé includes stints as a retailer, comics writer for DC and Charlton Comics, DC Comics executive, and CBLDF advisory board member, honored the ceremony as the keynote presenter for the event.
