Review: The Titans crash their peace-and-love-covered VW Bus, then hitchhike their way toward another groovy adventure. DC’s attempts to capture the era’s youth culture add a delicious camp quality to this iteration of the Titans, and the book’s supernatural overtones work well, too. Not great, but a good deal of fun.

Title: “Superboy Meets the Young Green Arrow”
Synopsis: A young Oliver Queen moves to Smallville, where Superboy tries to get him to take up the bow and arrow.

Review: This silly Silver Age reprint is made quite confusing by the decision to recolor Green Arrow to look like Speedy.
Grade (for the whole issue): B
Cool factor: Camp and Cardy.
Notable: Future Titans’ writer Bob “The Answer Man” Rozakis gives Aqualad some love via LoC. … The Superboy/Green Arrow story is reprinted from Adventure Comics #258.
Character quotable: “Dig the ‘village smithy’! What’s he know from Volkswagens?” – One of the Teen Titans, who, honestly, sound pretty much alike here
