The 2018 iteration of Awesome Games Done Quick closed out the week-long marathon by setting a new record, raising $2,263,508 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. That total surpasses the 2017 amount by roughly $40,000.

More than 32,000 people donated to the event over the course of the week, which included more than 150 different speedruns. The finale this year was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, though other highlight games included Metroid, Bloodborne, Final Fantasy IV, Splatoon 2, Contra, and more.

Of particular note was a one-controller, two-game setup by Zallard1, who managed to take out Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! and Super Punch-Out!! simultaneously; that run was completed in less than 24 minutes and can be seen in full below.

The Games Done Quick events are held twice a year, and the next, Summer Games Done Quick, will kick off in June 2018. These events have been held since 2010 and have benefitted charities such as the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders.
