Minnie Mouse will be receiving her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 22, 2018. The ceremony will be hosted by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which manages the Walk. Joining Minnie for the occasion will be Disney CEO Bob Iger and pop star Katy Perry.

Minnie’s star will be at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the El Capitan Theatre. Minnie joins her beau Mickey Mouse, as well as other Disney icons such as Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Tinker Bell, on the Walk of Fame.

“Minnie Mouse is a woman of the ages and her iconic status makes her a great addition to our Walk of Fame,” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, in a press release. “Generations of fans of all ages have been looking forward to her seeing her bright new star.”

Minnie and Mickey will both be celebrating their 90th anniversary this year; their first cartoon, Steamboat Willie, debuted in 1928.
