Carter starred as Wonder Woman between 1975 to 1979, and has recently appeared on CBS Supergirl series as the President of the United States.

“Superhero fans will be thrilled to see the TV’s iconic original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter honored with her well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. “We are proud to add Lynda onto our historic Walk of Fame.

The star will be located within the Television category, on 6562 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. Award-winning director of the 2016 live action Wonder Woman film, Patty Jenkins, is scheduled to speak at the event, along with CBS Corporations President-Chairman-CEO Les Moonves.

The ceremony honoring Carter is scheduled for April 3, 2018 and will be live-streamed on www.walkoffame.com.
