Recently, PaperFilms’ Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti were invited by one of the amazing teams at NASA to present a round table discussion regarding all of the projects, skills and events surrounding not only their individual talents, but also all of the great projects PaperFilms has going on.

Along with Conner and Palmiotti, the multimedia company is the collaboration efforts of comic greats Justin Gray, Paul Mounts, Frank Tieri, Joanne Starer, and Patrick Wedge. PaperFilms is the home of the TV series Painkiller Jane, the Random Acts of Violence film, as well as Warner Brothers new Injustice video game.

“If it isn’t obvious to most of the fans that follow the team, we’re huge science fans and the opportunity to visit the NASA complex but also watch a SpaceX launch from the complex was a true once in a lifetime event,” Conner and Palmiotti expressed in their newsletter.

After a short visit, Conner and Palmiotti presented a panel to members of the NASA staff regarding their background, art and production history, along with a sampling of their past projects and some of the items they have coming up. Following this panel, Conner and Palmiotti enjoyed a tour of some of the facilities as well as a SpaceX launch.

“This was an experience we wish we could share in more than pictures with everyone, but at least we wanted to present what we could. Hopefully everyone can get the opportunity to visit one of the NASA facilities near your location and we encourage everyone to do so! Such a thrilling event and our many thanks go out to all those involved in this great program!” concluded the newsletter.
