On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, eMoviePoster opened Part I of their 17th Annual Halloween Auction. Part I contains 254 great horror and science fiction lobby cards, which can be reviewed at www.emovieposter.com. It closes next week on Tuesday, October 25.

Part II contains 505 rolled and folded posters of all kinds, running Thursday, October 20 through Thursday, October 27.

Then Part III will run Sunday, October 23 through Sunday, October 30. It includes 326 linen-backed and oversized posters, posters that ship in oversized flat packages, pressbooks, incredible stills, and more. Collectors can look through the preview now.

Three surprising results from the auction that closed on October 18 were Yellow Submarine one-sheet that sold for $1,130, On The Waterfront one-sheet that closed at $1,081, and Cinerama's Russian Adventure one-sheet that realized $345.

All of the 130,000 items eMoviePoster auctions each year come to them from 1,900 collectors and dealers all over the world. You can consign to their three regular weekly auctions at any time, and they hold four major auctions a year with the best items that are consigned (and all linen-backed posters) in those auctions. Now is the time to consign to their December Major Auction which will run from November 27 to December 8. The consign deadline to get items on their way to them is October 28, so there is only a week left to mail your better items to their biggest auction of the year. Go to their Consign Page to learn about consigning to them, and what makes them different from other major auction houses. They have no buyer’s premiums whatsoever and they allow all their buyers to combine purchases over many weeks, which saves a great deal on shipping.
