ComicLink has seen strong results continue to be generated for Silver and early Bronze Age comic books from the John G. Fantucchio Pedigree, ComicLink President Josh Nathanson reported.

“We just finished auctioning a few more titles from the very large Fantucchio Pedigree in the current Focused Auction. The reception to the Fantucchio Pedigree that we’ve been introducing into the market over the past several months has been extremely positive as collectors recognize the incredible quality of these Silver Age and early Bronze Age examples, most in very high grade with gleaming white pages,” Nathanson said.

“We thought we would share the complete results for one of the titles to give your readers a chance to see how an almost complete run of a Silver Age Marvel title from an original owner pedigree performs in a ComicLink Focused Auction format. We’ve chosen the Tales of Suspense run from the Fantucchio Pedigree, which starts at #39 (first Iron Man), and includes all but a couple of issues through the end of the run (#99),” Nathanson said. “We’re excited to report that price results were excellent virtually across the board, with many of the examples from the run setting records for the grading tier! It’s also interesting to see the range in grades given that these were all purchased by the same collector and kept in the same storage conditions for 50-plus years.”

Fantucchio Tales of Suspense run Focused Auction results (all graded by CGC) were #39 7.0 $16,111, #40 8.5 $2,511, #41 5.0 $425, #42 7.5 $661, #43 9.2 $2,601, #44 9.0 $1,878, #45 8.5 $1,007, #46 9.2 $1,911, #47 9.2 $1,711, #48 8.5 $832, #49 9.4 $3,600, #50 9.2 $1,950, #51 8.0 $350, #52 8.0 $1,722, #53 9.4 $1,711, #54 9.4 $1,046 $, #55 9.2 $750, #56 9.0 $358, #57 8.5 $2,100, #59 9.4 $3,100, #60 9.4 $2,222, #61 9.0 $195, #62 9.2 $320, #63 9.2 $801, #64 9.2 $342, #65 9.4 $2,000, #66 9.2 $377, #67 9.4 $745, #68 7.5 $46, #69 9.0 $161, #70 7.5 $81, #71 8.0 $57, #72 9.2 $201, #73 9.2 $233, #74 9.0 $77, #75 8.0 $141, #76 9.6 $577, #77 9.4 $504, #78 9.0 $125, #79 9.4 $557, #80 9.4 $450, #81 9.2 $118, #82 9.0 $100, #83 9.2 $115, #84 9.4 $240, #85 9.6 $334, #86 9.2 $93, #87 9.0 $110, #88 9.0 $138, #89 9.0 $66, #90 9.4 CVA $325, #91 9.4 $131, #92 9.0 $110, #93 9.4 $158, #94 9.6 $855, #95 9/0 $110, #96 9.6 $329, #98 9.6 CVA $897, and #99 9.0 $102.

ComicLink is actively seeking collections to bring to auction that are similar to the Fantucchio Pedigree featuring large runs of Silver Age or early Bronze Age titles in higher grades, the company has announced. “We have two decades of expertise helping long-time collectors looking to maximize their return when they are ready to sell. We understand what it takes to establish a pedigree through CGC, and then oversee the grading and auction process. We’ve had great success for our consignors marketing valuable, large collections including the Rocky Mountain Pedigree and now the Fantucchio Pedigree,” Nathanson said.

ComicLink is accepting consignments for upcoming auctions including the last Focused Auction of the year starting on October 20. This auction includes hundreds of examples from the Fantucchio pedigree including runs from Tales to Astonish, Incredible Hulk, Detective Comics, and Green Lantern.

Also coming up soon is the Fall Featured Auction which will begin on November 15 and include the best in vintage comic books and comic related original art, including an unrestored example of Detective Comics #27 (first Batman). Those interested in consigning to either of these auctions, can contact ComicLink by emailing buysell@comiclink.com or by calling (617) 517-0062 (option 1) to speak with Josh Nathanson, Douglas Gillock, Jason Crosby, Jon Signorelli, or Ross Kearney.

In addition to auctioning items for consignors, ComicLink is also always accepting new sellers for the ComicLink exchange marketplaces, brokering private placement deals, and buying outright. Collectors seeking high-dollar comics or art can also contact ComicLink who can often locate them.
