Pedigree Comics’ upcoming February Grand Auction will feature many new and recently graded Silver and Bronze Age high grade Marvels plus books from other genres and publishers, according to Doug Schmell, President and CEO of Pedigree Comics, Inc. The auction is scheduled to begin in just a couple of days, on the night of Sunday, February 7, 2016 and last for ten days until the night of Wednesday, February 17 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website, www.PedigreeComics.com. There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every item will have no reserve. Every book is CGC or CBCS graded and the minimum bid is only $100 for this Grand Auction. The focus of this article is the incredible run of Avengers #1-99 that Mr. Schmell purchased in November 2015 that will be the highlight of the auction. There are only a handful or two of scattered issues missing from this run that is over 95% in 9.4 and higher and more than 50% in 9.6 and 9.8. As a bonus, there are many pedigrees included in the run (almost half of the run) plus the early Annuals in 9.4 and 9.6.
