Pedigree Comics’ February Grand Auction is underway. It began on the night of Sunday, February 7, 2016 and lasts for ten days until the night of Wednesday, February 17 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website, www.PedigreeComics.com. The first lot will end beginning at 9:22 PM ET (80 Page Giant #1 9.6) and the last lot will end at 11:59 PM ET (X-Men #143 9.8). There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every item has no reserve. Every book is CGC or CBCS graded and the minimum bid is only $100. There are many incredible groups of books, runs as well as individual highest certified comics from many titles in the auction as follows.

Of the high grade Silver and Bronze Age Marvels, many were recently graded by the CGC in mid-December. There are a few choice DC comics from the group as well. The group includes, as Pedigree describes it, a stunning Daredevil #1 9.4.

The auction includes a brand new group of high grade Silver and Bronze Age Marvels that was just graded two weeks ago and recently added to the Auction Listing. There is an incredible run of Avengers #1-100 that Pedigree Comics’ President and CEO, Doug Schmell, purchased in November that will be the highlight of the auction. There are only a handful or two of scattered issues missing from this run that is more than 95% in 9.4 and higher and more than 50% in 9.6 and 9.8. As a bonus, there are many pedigrees included in the run (almost 50% of the run) plus the early Annuals in 9.4 and 9.6 and a bunch of 9.8 and 9.6 issues in the early #100s. A high grade new X-Men #94-143 run is the final group of books that were added to the Auction Listing this past weekend. It is a fabulous run of all 9.8 and 9.6 new X-Men between issue #94 (a stunning 9.8) and #143 (also a 9.8).
