ComicConnect, the New York City-based auction house, has a copy of X-Men #1 up for grabs in their May Monthly Auction. “We also have a complete Fantastic Four run from the issue #1 all the way on up to the Galactus and Surfer story conclusion in issue #50,” Rob Reynolds, Director of Consignments said. “In addition, we have hundreds of third-party certified comics going under the hammer.”

“We’ve seen big price jumps on X-Men comics over the past couple of months due to the X-Men: Apocalypse movie out in May,” Reynolds said. “The X-Men #1 is a nice issue to jump into Silver Age collecting.”
