Diamond International Galleries’ (DIG) week-long auction ending May 1, 2016 includes comics such as a Marvel Comics 1980 Daredevil #168 graded at a 7.5 VF that features the first appearance and origin story of Elektra. This auction also has a selection of original comic book art such as Harvey Comics Dick Tracy marked #43-24 featuring the characters Sparkle Plenty and her dad B.O. Plenty. They have included art portfolios in their auction like a six-page portfolio Richard Corben signed Demon’s Breath from Frodo’s Press. Other pop culture collectibles available for bidding currently include a 1989 original printer’s proof cereal box art by Ralston featuring Tim Burton’s Batman, a vintage lot of three items that includes Rat Fink charms and Skip Barrett Business Card from the 1960s, and a vintage Peter Max psychedelic celluloid pinback button from the 1970s.

Next week DIG Auctions will offer limited edition lithographs in their auction ending May 8, including Star Wars Dagobah signed by artist Boris Vallejo and Star Wars Galaxy signed by artist Ken Steacy. Another print that will be available is the serigraph Saint George the Dragon Slayer signed by artist Carl Barks. Other vintage items that will become available for bidding include a Peanuts Gang: Snoopy tin lunchbox and plastic thermos from 1968 and western mystery horse ramp walker Nabisco cereal premium from the 1950s. There will be lots of comics, as well, such as a Marvel Savage Sword of Conan the Barbarian #199-204 graded at an average 7.0 FN/VF. Their auction ending April 24 had a big sale with a vintage 1950s Humphrey’s Lunch Mobile candy box with General John Pershing, that after nine bids finished at $409. There were two large sales in buy it now style listings; a vintage lot of Walt Disney’s Dumbo Weekly #1-8 and binder premium from 1942 which sold for $243 and an incomplete Transformers Headmaster Autobot base Fortress Maximus in original packaging by Hasbro from 1987 sold for $500.
