This week Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to provide pop culture items in their weekly auctions such as groups of comic books. These include a DC Comics Presents Superman #25-29 and #43 graded at an average 5.0 VG/FN, to vintage original art from the 1982 Legend of Bruce Lee Jeet Kune Do Sunday comic strip by Sharmon Divono and Fran Matera. They also have a large selection of vintage items like a Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse Globe Trotters Map and Mailer from the 1930s, a Lone Ranger lapel wind-up pocket watch by New Haven Time Company from 1939, a Mighty Mouse Bradley Swiss wrist watch from 1981 and a lot of ten Lyndon B. Johnson “L.B.J. All the Way” pinback buttons from the 1960s.

When this week’s auction ends on May 22, 2016, the next auction will begin and run until Sunday, May 29. There will be several vintage premiums, including a Walt Disney Mickey Mouse “Goes Fishing” cut-out Post Toasties treasure hunt premium from 1934, a Jack Armstrong pedometer Wheaties cereal premium from the 1940s and a Lone Ranger Saddle Ring with filmstrip Cheerios premium from 1951. Also available in the upcoming auction is a Marvel Universe limited edition prototype bust of Cable by Diamond Select Toys from 2004, a vintage Lone Ranger Frontier Town #3 Cheerios Cereal Premium from 1948, and a vintage The Last Round-Up three-sheet featuring Gene Autry from the 1947 film. All of the links are active with multiple images and detailed information, bidding will begin at the scheduled time.

Their auction ending May 15 had several popular items, the first was a vintage Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse “Time to Decorate” ink blotter from 1938 that sold for $193.50. Another popular item was a vintage The Beatles tin lunchbox and thermos by Aladdin Industries from 1965 which sold for $308. There was also a complete and unused Nintendo Entertainment System Action Set that fetched $400.
