Quantcast

eMoviePoster’s current auction opened on July 18, 2016 with 999 window cards, French and Italian posters, Mexican lobby cards, and pressbooks. Collectors can review these Tuesday items at www.emovieposter.com.

Three surprising results from the auction that recently closed on Sunday, July 17 were Grapes of Wrath 1956 rerelease insert that sold for $1,709, Italian Thunderball locandina with different James Bond image that reached $450, and Belgian Bohemian Girl poster that brought $225.

eMoviePoster sells 100,000 unique collectibles every year, and in 2015 they sold 127,888 items. Every one of the more than 1.1 million collectibles they sold started at $1 with no reserve and no buyer’s premiums, and well over half of the auctions sold for $14 or under, and quite a few auctioned for just $1, $2, or $3 each. Also, despite their name, they don't just auction movie posters. They also auction many tens of thousands of vintage stills, lobby cards, as well as signed items and scripts, all sorts of special posters. You can now preview a few of the great items that will be in their August Major Auction which runs from August 7-21 (including a special all animation section). Go to their Consign Page to learn about consigning to them for any of their auctions, or go to their Registration Page to sign up and start bidding.
