In Heritage’s July 31, 2016 Sunday Internet Comic Auction, they’ll offer The Batman Adventures #12 CGC 9.6 featuring the first comic book appearance of Harley Quinn. Originally the Joker’s sidekick, she appeared for the first time on Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. The show ran until 1995.

The popular character will make her big screen debut in Suicide Squad on August 5. In the Suicide Squad comic and upcoming film, Harley is part of a group of villains who has been recruited for a strike team to engage in missions against impossible odds. Margot Robbie (Focus) is starring as Harley in the film.

The psychotic, hilarious, sometimes diabolical Harley has become a very popular character in recent years. The movie premiere will likely drive interest in the character, making The Batman Adventures #12 a must have for collectors.
