On Saturday, July 30, 2016 artworks created by the 20th century master Pablo Picasso will be showcased for one day only. Baterbys, Central Florida’s largest art gallery, invites the general public to an evening art event and live auction that will feature works by Picasso and other artists, in the showroom of ProSource at 5250 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL.

The artwork of Picasso is widely regarded as the most important of the 20th century, due to its influence on movements that occurred throughout the period. If it weren’t for Picasso’s ingenuity and passion for creating, many genres and themes in modern art would never have come to fruition. His body of work is what made Picasso so highly respected during his lifetime.

It is without question that Picasso has made a place for himself in history as one of the greatest artists of all time. Guests are invited to delve into the history and life of this fascinating man and engage in conversation with world-class art specialists. Attendees can enjoy a glass of wine and light snacks while hearing educational, fun-filled talks about Picasso and many other masters.

The many artworks created by these highly regarded (and just as highly collected) artists will be available for auction during the evening’s events. Attendees will have the chance to bid on and own museum-quality works not only by Picasso, but Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Henri Matisse, Peter Max and many others, along with a contemporary and decorative selection of artworks.
