Metropolis Collectibles and ComicConnect have announced their upcoming attendance at Wizard World Chicago, the weekend of August 18-21, 2016.

“Metropolis always looks forward to our annual visit to the Jewel of the Midwest,” said Frank Cwiklik, Director of Sales. “This show only gets bigger and bigger as the Second City has almost become a second San Diego Con.”

ComicConnect’s Director of Consignments, Rob Reynolds, will accept consignments and provide cash advances throughout the convention. “I lived in Indiana for nearly 30 years so it will be nice to get back to the Midwest again. I’ll be writing cash advance checks all week for comic book and original art consignment,” Reynolds said. “And, I’ll preview some of my best books from my next Special Auction for serious bidders. Stop on by!”

Metropolis says they’ll be bringing thousands of hard to find Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age comics. “If you would like us to bring specific books for you, contact us immediately at (800) 229-6387 or email me at orders@metropoliscomics.com and we will get the books ready for the show,” Cwiklik continued.
