New York City’s ComicConnect, is offering 50 auction lots produced by the publisher Timely, the Golden Age precursor to Atlas and Marvel, in their Summer Special Auction. “Timely prices have climbed dramatically as of late and collectors need to jump in now before it’s too late for their wallet,” Vincent Zurzolo, Chief Operating Officer, said. “The Summer Special has nearly two dozen Alex Schomburg covers, highest graded copies, pedigreed comics, plus a wonderful selection of rare Timely’s from which to choose. Novice and expert Golden Age collectors have plenty to think about when final bids go through.”

Highlights include All Select Comics #1 CGC 6.5, Captain America Comics #46 CGC 3.5, Human Torch #17 CBCS 9.0, Marvel Comics #1 CBCS 9.4 R, Marvel Mystery Comics #12 CGC 9.4, Marvel Mystery Comics #47 CGC 9.4, Marvel Mystery Comics #64 CGC 9.4, and Sub-Mariner Comics #13 CGC 9.2.
