Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, October 2, 2016. Vintage items include a lot of five 1950s Range Rider and Dick West bread labels, a 1968 Walt Disney Productions International Merchandise Convention catalog, and a 1971 Swiss Daffy Duck watch by Sheffield. The gallery is offering several first appearances and number one comic book issues this week including a third printing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 by Mirage Studios graded at a 5.0 VG/FN, Marvel Premiere #15 graded at a 4.0 VG featuring the first appearance of Iron Fist, and a Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 graded at a 9.0 VF/NM featuring the first appearance of John Constantine/Hellblazer. Modern collectibles in this auction include some Diamond Select Toys prototypes like this limited edition Transformers Jazz prototype mini bust and sports memorabilia like a limited edition Cal Ripken Jr. Hall of Fame commemorative pillow by Cat Studio.

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week long run October 2-9. Some vintage items that will become available for bidding include a set of two 1940 Jiminy Cricket NBC bread extra action flip cards, 1950s vintage Mickey Mouse Club Special Talent Award, membership and sticker and five 1950s pin-up girl promotional ink blotters. There will be a large selection of comics including a second printing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #3 by Mirage Studios graded at a 7.5 VF- and a DC Comics Batman #27 graded by CGC at a 5.0 VG/FN and featuring a Penguin appearance. Popular items that ended in last week’s action on Sunday, September 25 included an issue of Uncle Scrooge Adventures #33 signed by Carl Barks, Billy Van Horn and Geoffrey Blum that ended at $153 after 23 bids. Other items that were a big hit in last week’s auction were a vintage 1970s Walt Disney Donald Duck Disneyland squeaker postcard which sold for $158 after six bids, a lot of four vintage 1930s Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse bubble gum wax wrappers by Gum Ink fetched $221 after 15 bids and a vintage 1941 America the Wonderful pictorial map by Ernest Dudley Chase which sold for $383 after 13 bids.
