After an illustrious 50 years of pioneering comic book collectibles in North America, Howard Rogofsky is officially retiring. Big Apple Con founder, Michael Carbonaro is assisting in celebrating Rogofsky's career with a Once in a Lifetime sale event. A selection of unique Rogofsky comic books and memorabilia will be available for sale on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10 AM to 6 PM. It will be located in Suites A and B of the Holiday Inn on 440 West 57th Street in Manhattan, New York.

During the late 1950s, Rogofsky began accumulating his first collection of comic books. After selling some of the comic books to his friends, Rogofsky quickly saw the business potential at hand. His mother assisted in creating his first catalog, and before long he was selling comic books worldwide. This later evolved into a multi-million-dollar market of collectors and dealers. Included within his client list were avid celebrity collectors such as Lucille Ball, Red Skelton, the Rockefeller family, and even Stan Lee.

This incredible sale will feature priceless vintage comic books and TV Guides (1940-1990), original packaging toy and games, movie and television fan magazines (1930-2000), rare books and vinyl records (1940-1990), rare photographs, film and TV posters, movie memorabilia, vintage Playboy and Hustler magazines, Avengers playing cards, and much more.

For the first time ever, the public will be able to not only view this amazing private collection, but also have the chance to bring something home. Don't miss out!
