The Incredible Hulk #1, featuring the first appearance of the Hulk, is one of the most desirable Silver Age comics. A rare offering of the comic, featuring signatures by co-creators Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, will be offered in an upcoming auction at Heritage on February 23-25, 2017.

This copy has been in a private collection for the last 30 years and will likely be a highly sought after item in the auction. According to the owner, the copy was acquired in the mid-1980s at Comic-Con International: San Diego.

The comic is listed as lot 91137 in the Heritage auction. The accompanying image was taken before grading. On Heritage’s website it’s listed as CGC 5.5 Restored.
