The next auction at Hake’s Americana & Collectibles will be open for bidding next week! The catalog is off to the printer and will be shipped soon and the auction goes online on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

They still found time to post some highlights on their Facebook page, including a Nuclear Physics Atomic Energy Lab from 1952, Flash Comics #77 CBCS 9.8 with Golden Age Hawkman cover, and 1960s oil paint set by Hasbro, Inc. featuring the Wolfman. An original 1941 shooting script for The Wolfman signed by the author, publisher, and editor, as well as The Wolfman writer Curt Siodmak, composer Hans J. Salter, and actor Ralph Bellamy will also be sold.

Auction #220 includes a double-sided ferrotype from 1860 depicting Abraham Lincoln on one side and his running mate Hannibal Hamlin on the other side, boxed Takatoku Toys X-Bomber toy, and original style guide art featuring the women of DC, such as Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Black Canary, Zatanna, Wonder Girl, and Hawkwoman.

Super Powers toys including unpunched Superman, Lex Luthor, Desaad, and Orion, More Fun Comics #72 CGC 9.6 with the Golden Age Doctor Fate, and lobby cards for the 1952 rerelease of King Kong are in the auction.

Additional highlights include The Monkees photo signed by all four members of the band – Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, and Michael Nesmith, Journey Into Mystery #83 CGC 5.0 featuring the first appearance of Thor, and a 1971 Aurora Monster Scenes model kits including Vampirella, Frankenstein, Dr. Deadly, and “The Victim.”
