The recently completed Winter ComicLink Featured Auction generated impressive sales results on ComicLink.com for comic related original art. “The art market continues to show great strength with many of the results realized in the Winter Featured Auction exceeding expectations,” said Josh Nathanson, President of ComicLink. 

Some of the top results achieved in the recently completed auction were Barry Windsor-Smith Conan the Barbarian #6 complete 20-page story sold for $160,000, Frank Miller Batman: The Dark Knight #4 page 31 sold for $32,002, John Romita Daredevil #16 page 5 sold for $30,500, Gene Colan (and others) Daredevil #64 cover sold for $27,800, John Romita Amazing Spider-Man #68 page 17 sold for $21,815, Gil Kane Marvel Triple Action #10 cover sold for $20,250, Gil Kane Thor #216 cover sold for $18,050, Frank Miller Daredevil #158 page 23 sold for $15,505, John Buscema Silver Surfer #7 page 9 sold for $14,250, and Mike Grell Warlord #29 cover sold for $10,475.

If you are interested in consigning to upcoming ComicLink Auctions, the firm’s Spring Featured Auction will begin on May 17, 2017, and will be similar in scope to the firm’s Winter Featured Auction with highlights summarized above. The current Focused Auction is now underway, and ComicLink will also be holding an April Focused Auction beginning on April 12.
