Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, March 26, 2017. Vintage collectibles include a 1950s Walt Disney Celluloid Mickey and Minnie Mouse hand cart windup toy and a 1930s Popeye the Sailor Man wooden doll by Jaymar. A lot of comic books in this week’s auction feature first appearances, such as Marvel Comics Howard the Duck #13 featuring the first appearance of the band KISS in comic form. Modern collectibles in this week’s auction are a 1996 limited edition Hanna-Barbera Pioneers of Television Space Ghost Fossil watch and a 2009 Diamond Select Toys Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan classic phaser.

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week-long run March 26 to April 2. Sports memorabilia will include two issues of Ebony Magazine with Muhammad Ali on the covers. There will be a selection of Colorforms original production art including production artwork from the Scooby Doo Colorforms Set. In addition, there will be modern collectibles, such as another Fleischer Studios and Cryptozoic limited edition statue of Superman rescuing Lois Lane. Several collectibles stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, March 19. Vintage Disney collectibles that stood out included the 1930s Mickey and Minnie Mouse Lionel Handcar toy, that sold for $227 after 11 bids and the 1930s Geo. Borgfeldt Mickey Mouse walker celluloid wind-up toy, which fetched $514 after 15 bids. Other vintage collectibles that stood out were original political cartoon artwork by Gaar Williams Talk About a famine in China that ended at $227.49 after only four bids and the 1967 Adelphi Theater Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens concert handbill that sold for $296 after 12 bids.
