Reece’s Rare Comics has just announced two GPA record breaking results to come out of their most recent sale. The first highlight was a Brave and The Bold #28 CGC 9.0, which realized $108,000.

“With just two 9.4s and three 9.2s grading higher on the census, demand for top tier keys continues to sky rocket. Interest has continued to surge in anticipation of the JLA movie,” Greg Reece shared.

The second sale, came from a Showcase #22 CGC 8.5, which ended at $60,000. This issue is one of the most difficult Silver Age DC keys to find in grade, only four copies have ever graded higher in CGC’s 17 years of operation.

“We owned this book less than two weeks. There was intense interest in the book from the moment we debuted it at the San Diego Comic Con,” added Reece.
