Bidding opens Friday for the August 10-12, 2017 Comics & Comic Art Signature Auction at Heritage Auctions. This events includes a wide variety of pieces with broad appeal, including signifcant comic art pieces such as Fred Ray’s Superman #12 original cover, Dick Sprang’s Batman Around the World Through Time and Space original, and Jack Kirby and Paul Reinman's X-Men #2 story page 7, which features the first appearance of the Danger Room.

Also on the docket are Amazing Spider-Man #14 CBCS 9.8, Detective Comics #35 CGC 4.5, All Star Comics #3 CGC 5.5, Amazing Mystery Funnies V2#5 CGC 8.5, Steve Ditko’s Strange Tales #141 story page 8 (Doctor Strange) original art, and John Byrne and Terry Austin’s X-Men #135 story page 12 original art.

The August 10, Session 1 will feature lots 91001-91265 at 1 PM CT, followed by Session 2 with lots 92001-92306 at 1 PM CT on August 11. Session 3, featuring lots 93001-93562, will take place on the Internet on August 12 at 1 PM CT.
