The ComicLink Summer Featured Auction is underway with a strong selection of certified comic books and related original artwork from all eras. “Our third Featured Auction of 2017 was an exciting launch, as there are many outstanding items for our bidder members to be enthusiastic about,” Josh Nathanson, President of ComicLink, said. “The Auction includes a well rounded selection of high-end, certified comic books from all eras. Most of the Silver Age and Bronze keys are present and there is a strong representation of Golden Age, including many keys, pedigrees and single highest graded offerings. Pristine Copper and Modern Age keys are also present. In addition to the large vintage comic book selection, the original art section is filled with highlights from the likes of Jack Kirby, Frank Frazetta, Neal Adams, Bernie Wrightson, and Andy Kubert. These include the cover to Fantastic Four #77 with the entire team as well as Silver Surfer and Galactus (the only Silver Age Fantastic Four cover that has surfaced featuring the cosmic entities), the first Gambit appearance on the cover of Uncanny X-Men #266, two wonderful Frank Frazetta oil paintings, and the cover to Justice League of America #92 with Solomon Grundy defeating Superman amidst fallen JLA and JSA teams, and a Frankenstein Monster illustration art plate from A Marvel Illustrated Novel, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s Frankenstein.

ComicLink Senior Consignment Director Douglas Gillock and Sales Consultant Ross Kearney, will be at San Francisco Comic Con being held this weekend, on Friday through Sunday, September 1-3, at the Moscone Center West. The ComicLink team will be set up at booth 411/510. The firm will be meeting with clients and accepting consignments for upcoming auctions. “If you are attending the show, don’t sell the good stuff without stopping by our booth first, so we can assist you in maximizing your return,” Gillock said.
