A selection of many key Silver Age comics are up for bid in Heritage Auctions’ internet comics sale, which closes on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Famous first appearances, including Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 4.5 and the Hulk in The Incredible Hulk #1 CGC Apparent 5.0 are offered.

“This week is ideal for those looking to fill some important holes in their comic collection,” Heritage’s Comics & Comic Art Director of Operations Barry Sandoval said. “All told, the sale has more than 100 different books featuring first appearances of fandom’s most important heroes and villains.”

Superhero team first appearances are also offered, like The Avengers #1 CGC 4.0 and the Justice League from The Brave and the Bold #28 CGC 5.5.

Additional famous firsts in the auction are Fantastic Four #5 CGC 7.5 (introduces Doctor Doom), Tales to Astonish #44 CGC 7.0 (origin of Ant-Man, first Wasp), Our Army at War #83 CGC 3.0 (first Sgt. Rock), The Amazing Spider-Man #6 CGC 7.0 (origin, first Lizard), Action Comics #252 CGC 4.0 (origin, first Supergirl), Daredevil #1 CGC 3.5 (debut of Daredevil, first Karen Page and Foggy Nelson), Detective Comics #359 CGC 6.5 (origin and first Batgirl, first Silver Age Killer Moth), and The Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 9.4 and 5.5 (first Wolverine).
