With its Winter Featured Auction currently open, ComicLink is busy gathering consignments for other upcoming auctions including the Spring Featured Auction which will begin on May 3, as well as the  March Focused Auction which will begin on March 15, and the April Focused Auction, which will begin on April 12 and will include a session for vintage certified coins. Interested sellers may contact ComicLink by emailing buysell@comiclink.com or by calling (617) 517-0062 (option 1) to speak with Josh Nathanson, Douglas Gillock, Jason Crosby, Jon Signorelli or Ross Kearney. In addition to auctioning items for consignors, ComicLink is also always accepting new sellers for the ComicLink exchange marketplaces, brokering private placement deals, and buying outright.

On March 1-4, ComicLink will be set up at Seattle’s Emerald City Comic Con. Vice President Douglas Gillock and Sales Consultant Ross Kearney will be set up at the Washington State Convention Center in booth 2202. The firm will be meeting with clients and accepting consignments for upcoming auctions. If you will be in attendance, they will be available to meet with you. “ComicLink is happy to provide advice to collectors looking to sell vintage comic books, comic related art, sports cards or certified coins on the best ways to maximize your return,” Gillock said.

“We have some incredible material already consigned to some of our upcoming auctions. The Spring Featured Auction has two mega-keys already posted, Journey Into Mystery #83 (first Thor) CGC 9.4 with White Pages and Tales of Suspense #39 (first Iron Man) CGC 9.4. These two major first appearances very rarely come up for public auction in true Near Mint condition. With their key roles in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor and Iron Man have gone from being long-time Marvel comic book stars to being two of the most popular fictional characters on the planet. With the massive anticipation for the third Avengers film, Avengers: Infinity War ‒ opening up on May 4 ‒ Iron Man and Thor will continue to be in the spotlight in an enormous way,” ComicLink founder and CEO Josh Nathanson said.

Some of the early original art highlights include Art Adams’ cover to Classic X-Men #12, which was his homage to Kirby’s X-Men #1 cover showing the “New” X-Men battling Magneto in place of the original team. There’s also a Jim Lee page from X-Men #8 featuring Rogue along with Gambit and Bishop. The X-Men will be in the spotlight in a huge way later this year with X-Men: Dark Phoenix opening in November. They also have an important Dave Gibbons page from the final issue of the historic Watchmen series, #12. It’s the key page where Ozymandias explains his infamous plot to save the world to Rorschach and Nite Owl.
