There’s still time to bid on hundreds of comic books starting as low as $1 on the new auction website, DIGAuction.com, offered by Diamond International Galleries. The first auction will soon close bidding on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
It is no surprise that CGC-certified comics are the standout titles so far in their first auction, Saturday Comic Auction #1. The Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 7.5, Crack Comics #4 CGC 6.5, Werewolf by Night #32 CGC 6.5 and World’s Finest Comics #8 CGC 3.5 are all getting a lot of attention. There are still a handful of CGC-certified comics with a lot of value in them that have not seen that much attention, including the first appearance of Deadpool in New Mutants #98 CGC 8.0, the last appearance of Steamboat in Captain Marvel Adventures #48 CGC 8.0, and the first appearance of Orion in New Gods #1 CGC 7.5. Raw comics receiving a lot of bid action include Sub-Mariner #1, Daredevil #158, Iron Man #128, and X-Men #41. There are still almost 200 comic books, CGC-certified and raw, with very little to no bids, and many great deal to be found on Silver, Bronze, and Modern Age books.
Their next auction, Saturday Comic Auction #2, can be previewed now. Bidding starts March 24 and will run until March 31. Raw comic titles featured include Black Panther, The Champions, Combat Kelly, Creatures on the Loose, Daredevil, The Man-Thing, The Mighty Thor, The Fantastic Four, Warlock, X-Men, She-Hulk, and more. CGC-certified comics featured in this auction include Mighty Mouse #4 CGC 7.5, the first appearance of Misty Knight in Marvel Premiere #21 CGC 8.0, Pizza Hut collector’s edition Batman #122 CGC 7.5, and the first appearance of Negan, signed by Robert Kirkman, in The Walking Dead #100 CGC Signature Series 9.8.
DIGAuction.com will host their first toy auction starting April 7, the Funko Scratch and Dent Spectacular #1. Available now for preview, this auction features Pop! vinyl from Disney, Marvel, DC Comics, television, movies, animation and more. Pop! vinyl figures featured in this auction are a Previews Exclusive Green Lantern, Captain America: Civil War Black Panther, and The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green Ranger. All auctions start at $1 and this auction features a unique five dollar minimum.
