The current ComicLink Focused Auction is filled with comic books, related original art lots, and even vintage certified coins. Key and high grade Silver Age and early Bronze Age comic book lots start closing on Tuesday night, April 24, 2018 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT and continue on Wednesday and Thursday, April 25-26. All of the Golden Age comic books in Session 2 also close next week on Friday, April 27. In all, ComicLink is offering consignors thousands of no reserve comic book and original art lots over the next two weeks.

“Major highlights include, but are not limited to, the first appearance of Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy #15 in a desirable CGC 6.0 as well as Amazing Spider-Man #1 in CGC 7.5. Session 1 of the auction also includes over 170 new examples from the incredible John G. Fantucchio Pedigree collection run from such great Silver Age titles as Journey Into Mystery/Thor, Captain Marvel, Batman, Brave and the Bold, The Flash, Metal Men, Showcase, Teen Titans and more,” ComicLInk Founder and President Josh Nathanson said.

There are numerous Golden Age offerings in Session 2 including keys like All-Star Comics #3 (first Justice Society of America), high grades and Pedigree examples like Sensation Comics (Wonder Woman covers) #37 CGC 9.4 Davis Crippen Pedigree (top three graded) and #41 CGC 9.2 (single highest graded). There are also numerous pre-code horror goodies including Witches Tales #25 (pre-code horror classic cover) CGC 8.5. Collectors will also find late Bronze and Modern Age keys like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (rare first print of first Turtles appearance) CGC 6.5 and CGC 9.8 examples of Amazing Spider-Man #194 (first Black Cat) and #300 (first full Venom), Batman Adventures #12 (first Harley Quinn in comics), and X-Men #101 (first Phoenix).

In addition to the Spider-Man keys mentioned above, examples of Silver Age and early Bronze Age (Session 1) offerings include a large group of early high grade Amazing Spider-Man issues include #2 CGC 8.0, examples of #5, #7, #8, #10, #12, #16, and #18 in CGC 9.0, examples from #21 and up in CGC 9.4 and better, also included is #129 (first Punisher) in CGC 9.8.

A few other keys include Incredible Hulk #1 (first Hulk) CGC 4.5 and #181 (first full Wolverine) CGC 9.4, Action Comics #252 (first Supergirl) CGC 6.5, Hero For Hire #1 (first Luke Cage) CGC 9.4, Iron Man #55 (first Thanos and Drax) CGC 9.8, Batman #181 (first Poison Ivy) CGC 9.0, Strange Tales #110 (first Dr. Strange) CBCS 6.5, Green Lantern #1 (first Guardians of the Universe) CGC 6.0, Brave and the Bold #28 (first Justice League) CBCS 5.0, and Fantastic Four #14 CGC 9.4 and #45 (first Inhumans) CGC 9.2.

Examples of hard-to-find Golden Age comic books in Session 2 include Sensation Comics (Wonder Woman covers) #37 CGC 9.4 Davis Crippen Pedigree (top three graded) and #41 CGC 9.2 (single highest graded), Action Comics #81 (1945 New Year’s cover) CGC 8.5 and #88 CGC 9.4, Detective Comics #121 CGC 9.2, Flash Comics #51 (Moldoff Hawkman cover) CGC 9.4 (top four), Witches Tales #25 (pre-code horror classic cover) CGC 8.5, several early issues of Action Comics, All-Star Comics #3 (first Justice Society of America) CGC 2.0, Human Torch #24 CBCS 8.5, Jo-Jo #9 CGC 7.5, Planet Comics #31 CGC 8.0, Superman #23 (classic WWII cover) CGC 6.5 and #24 (classic flag cover) CGC 5.0, Batman #17 (WWII cover) CGC 4.5 and #55 (Joker cover) CGC 7.0, Sub-Mariner Comics #33 (first Atlas revival issue, origin retold) CGC 5.5, Mystery Men #16 CGC 5.0, and many more from Golden Age genres.

There is a very large selection of certified late Bronze through Modern Age comic books, many in high grade condition, with a large number of the key issues in numerous conditions. Examples include Amazing Spider-Man #194 (first Black Cat) CGC 9.8 and #300 (first full Venom) CGC 9.8 and 9.6, Batman Adventures #12 (first Harley Quinn in comics) CGC 9.8, Black Panther #1 (first self-titled series, Kirby art) CGC 9.8, DC Comics Presents #26 (first Cyborg and New Teen Titans) CGC 9.8, New Mutants #87 (first Cable) and #98 (first Deadpool) both in CGC 9.8, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 6.5 and #2 CGC 9.8, X-Men #101 and #129 in CGC 9.8, and several 1980s issues of Uncanny X-Men in very rare CGC 9.9.

The auction will also feature a session devoted to certified coins and offers primarily scarcer and high grade Mint-State coins from the 1800s and early 1900s with some later issues in hgh grade condition.
