Disorder in the courts! This week on Just Kids Nostalgia, the eBay-based auction house is offering a large collection of courtroom sketches by artist Bill Lignante. Bill Lignante was a comic book artist most famous for his work on the Phantom.

He later became a courtroom sketch artist for ABC News and worked on many high profile cases. In the 26 years he spent as a courtroom artist, he illustrated 60 trials, including those of Charles Manson, Patty Hearst, Squeaky Fromme, Evel Knievel, and Lee Marvin Palimony. Some of his artwork was later used to illustrate his set of trading cards “Crime and Punishment.”

During the 1980s and 1990s Lignante traveled the country lecturing at colleges about the life and art of a courtroom sketch artist. Just Kids Nostalgia is offering a large collection of original prints from these lectures.

Interested collectors should head over to eBay to get started on bidding on these “Trials of the Century” prints today.
