eMoviePoster opened their latest auction on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, with 999 large French and Italian posters, Mexican lobby cards, window cards, great pressbooks, and more. Interested collectors can review these Tuesday items at www.emovieposter.com.

Pressbooks include Creature from the Black Lagoon for 2D and 3D releases, Things to Come for the H.G. Wells adaptation, Mighty Joe Young for the first Ray Harryhausen film, Hunchback of Notre Dame rare example, Psycho for the Alfred Hitchcock classic, The Day the Earth Stood Still with classic image, Dracula/Frankenstein double-bill for the great horror movies, Thief of Bagdad with Jieren art, House on Haunted Hill including a poster, and Revenge of the Creature with 3D ads.

Window cards are City for Conquest with close images of James Cagney and Ann Sheridan, Boy Meets Girl showing James Cagney and Pat O’Brien, Movie Crazy with art of Harold Lloyd, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly for the Western hit, She Done Him Wrong depicting Owen Moore and Mae West, Head featuring The Monkees, and Abbott & Costello Go to Mars showing the duo as astronauts.

French one-panels include Eyes without a Face with Mascii art, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly featuring Clint Eastwood, Ben-Hur depicting Charlton Heston, Thunderball with McGinnis and McCarthy art, Zero de Conduite with Jean Colin art for the 1946 rerelease, Strange Things Happen at Night with nouveau style art by Druillet, Muhammad Ali the Greatest showing the boxing champ, Ocean’s 11 with Jean Mascii art, Zulu depicting Stanley Baker and Michael Caine, and Golden Coach depicting art of Anna Magnani.

Mexican lobby card highlights are Roaring Twenties 6 cards from the 1950s rerelease, Casablanca 8 cards for the 1960s rerelease, Angels with Dirty Faces 6 cards from the 1950s rerelease, and Big Shot 8 cards for the 1950s rerelease.

Italian examples are Deep Red one-panel for the Dario Argento film, Fearless Vampire Killers one-panel for the 1970s rerelease, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off one-panel with different art, and On the Waterfront two-panel for the 1960 rerelease.

Three surprising results from the auction that closed on May 22 were a Belgian Flash Gordon poster for $950, Italian Thunderball set of 12 photobustas for $925, and Polish Rebel Without a Cause poster for $555.
