ComicLink is currently accepting comic books, as well as comic and fantasy original art consignments for their Summer Featured Auction which launches in August, along with the next Focused Auction, which begins on July 11. The growing Summer ComicLink Featured Auction preview is now available with highlights for early seller consignors now.

“While it is still early in the process, the Summer Featured Auction is already shaping up to be a blockbuster,” ComicLink founder and President Josh Nathanson said. Early consignments include major Silver Age keys such as Fantastic Four #1 (first Fantastic Four and origin) CGC 9.0, Amazing Fantasy #15 (first Spider-Man and origin) CGC 7.0 (CVA Exceptional), and Amazing Spider-Man #1 (second Spider-Man, first Jameson) CGC 7.0. Silver Age DC offerings include high grade examples from The Flash run that came out of the Fantucchio pedigree collection, including the key #139 (first Reverse Flash) CGC 9.2.

Early Golden Age books posted include Action Comics #19 CGC 7.0 and some Timely comics with Schomburg art like Human Torch #23 (robot cover) CGC 9.0 Aurora pedigree, Marvel Mystery Comics #28 (torture cover) CGC 8.5, and Sub-Mariner Comics #9 (WWII cover) CGC 8.0. Another Schomburg offering is Startling Comics #52 CGC 9.4, a high grade example of the artist’s late 1940s airbrush covers. 

Early Bronze Age highlights include Marvel Feature #1 (first Defenders) CGC 9.8 and Incredible Hulk #180 (first Wolverine) CGC 9.8.

A few early original art consignments include a stunning George Pérez splash from Infinity Gauntlet #1 featuring the first time Thanos wields the power of the Infinity Gauntlet; a Todd McFarlane double page spread from Spider-Man #8 featuring great images of Spidey, Mary Jane, and J. Jonah Jameson and a great page from Spawn #33; a rarely available Joe Kubert war cover to G.I. Combat #276; a Hal Foster Prince Valiant page from 1962; a John Byrne Ant-Man battle page from Marvel Premiere #47 ‒ the first story to feature Scott Lang as Ant-Man; a Frank Miller page from Daredevil #167 featuring Daredevil in all four panels; and a Frank Brunner page from Howard the Duck #1 featuring Howard and Beverly as barbarians.

New pieces will be added to the auction previews regularly.
